The 405's Carl Osbourn had the pleasure of going record shopping with Emily Underhill, aka Tusks, at the always accommodating (and fantastic) Rough Trade East. From Keaton Henson's Kindly Now, all the way through to Space Is Only Noise by Nicolas Jaar, Emily's selection is perfect.

Tusks' False EP is out now via One Little Indian. You can hear tracks from it by going to see her live at London's Waiting Room on November 23rd.

Bon Iver - Bon Iver

I still get the same feelings listening to this album now as when it first came out - something about everything Bon Iver creates just seems timeless and so emotive - it makes me want to travel.

Keaton Henson - Kindly Now

I love the honesty in Keaton's music and I got really excited by the first track on this album 'March' - it's more experimental and uplifting.

Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes

I first heard this when I was on a plane to Australia for the first time and it was like pure magic - it's my favourite release of his - it's such a good mix of weird beats, jazz, electronic and ambient music.

Jon Hopkins - Immunity

This record reminds me of a really good but really intense soundtrack - I love the progression in his music, again it gets so epic - it makes me want to do everything all at once.

James Blake - The Colour In Anything

I had to include a bit of James Blake. I find this album so depressing and intense that I've actually struggled to listen to it recently but it's so, so beautifully written and produced. 'I Need A Forest Fire' is an exception though, I think I listen to that every day.

Nicolas Jaar - Space Is Only Noise

I listen to Nicolas Jaar a lot when I'm working - I love the found sounds involved in making these tracks. It's pretty weird - I prefer his more recent stuff now but I couldn't find it on vinyl and wanted to include him. 'Balance Her Between Your Eyes' is my favourite on this record.
