Red Bull Music Academy have announced yet another exciting residency, starting next month at Canal Mills in Leeds. Fronting the venture will Moodyman, one of the most prominent pioneers of Detroit techno, along with familiar electro figures Daniel Avery, Erol Alkan, John Talabot, and more.

The announcement comes shortly after RBMA held its "Culture Clash" in the Yorkshire city, which aimed to bring both crowd and performer together in a style resembling the Jamaican Soundclashes. For those potentially unfamiliar, the Jamaican Soundclash ('Losing My Edge' fans may remember) is commonly recognized as a make-shift competition between DJ's, using their own skills and sound systems to create an edge. The crowd ultimately decides the winner, but contests could run for a staggering 13 hours. RBMA, however, wasn't in the business of letting things run for too long.

More information on the residency, along with this informative poster, can be read at the Red Bull Music Academy website.
