This just keeps happening - poor Daft Punk fans just continue to have their heartstrings played with. All they want is to see the electronic duo go on tour. And with all the online hoopla, it's hard to decipher what is true or false anymore.

This past September, news spread that Daft Punk might be playing Lolapalooza. In October, it was the now deceased website alive2017.com that popped up to trick fans into thinking there was a tour about to be announced. Daft Punk's 1997 live album and 2007 tour were both called Alive so the URL made sense.

And now, presumably fake trailers are popping up all over Youtube, which has Reddit users losing their minds. "I would travel great distances and pay a large amount of money to see these guys play a live show. I don't have many things on my bucket list, but this is one of them," one user said.
