Nashville-based pair *repeat repeat is back with their second single of the year 'Head On.' It’s a jagged number with glossy productions and fortifying tones. The latest offering is as addicting as they come. Enhanced by saccharine arrangements, gleaming synths and scorching guitar licks, the resonance is sweetened.

The duo is the partnership of husband-and-wife, Jared and Kristyn Corder. Their creative collaboration on ‘Head On’ as well as on their previous single ‘Hi, I’m Waiting’ displays their affinity for genre-blending sounds of pop, surf-pop, and indie rock. Regardless of genre, *repeat repeat is carving out a sonic stye that’s original and true to themselves.

Jared’s slick vocals are pitch-perfect for these infectious indie-pop efforts with Kristyn’s harmonies coming in greatly effective. Kristyn’s deft use on keys adds incredible flair, which provides 'Head On' with a high-octane exuberance that is difficult to shake off even when the song’s over.

*repeat repeat says this about their new track, “’Head On’ is about self-empowerment, feeling strong and confident and defining who you are to the world. It’s about saying ‘fuck it’ to self-doubt and putting your chin up to take on the world with good intention. We debuted this song at Bonnaroo and Sloss Fest where the energy and positive vibes of the festivals felt like a perfect platform for what this song is about.”

The band’s sophomore record, Glazed, was produced by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys and will be released on May 31st via Dangerbird Records. Previously, the duo released their debut LP, Floral Canyon, in 2017.
