One of the perks of this here writing gig of mine is that occasionally I get to hear albums quite a bit before they're released, and sometimes they're really, really great - one of those is the debut from Niall Galvin aka Only Real, Jerk at the End of the Line. A genre-spanning release that was a year in the making and recorded across two continents it welcomes you into Galvin's warm and left-of-centre world that proves he's a seriously unique talent, and you can listen to the full record below.

After recovering from his slew of gigs at SXSW this past week, he'll be headed out on a UK/European headlining tour in April and May, and the full list of gigs can be found after the album stream.
