It seems that Riff Raff is no longer content being Rap Game James Franco in Spring Breakers. TMZ has posted a video for the rapper exiting in a club in Hollywood in which he says he plans to sue the makers of Spring Breakers for $8 to $10 million.

The film, directed by Harmony Korine most famous for writing Kids, and directing the likes of Gummo and the utterly weird Trash Humpers, features four college girls on spring break where they run into a bit of trouble and are saved by James Franco’s character Alien, a rapper/gangster, and get too involved in his world of gang wars and drugs.

It's not mystery that Alien is a heck of a lot like Riff Raff, from the braided hair to the often outlandish fashion sense. Riff Raff has often joked that Franco's character is essentially a fictionalised version of himself, going so far as to play a character named Jamie Franko in US soap One Life To Live. Everything was always a bit light hearted and fun with a dash of the ridiculous, but now it seems something has flipped with Riff Raff. Riff Raff said that he wouldn't necessarily sue Franco, "James Franco is cool, he drops four or five movies a year, he has the money-- it's not about him. I just need my money." He went on to say, "It's like if I have a front yard and you're planting soil and you're planting trees and building peaches and houses and selling parking lots on my property... then I deserve to be compensated for some portion of that money."

At least he enjoyed the movie though, although I'm not sure he's all that clear that a Spring Breakers Part 2 might be quite difficult to do.
