Interested in the life and times of Rihanna? Later on this year, the pop icon will be receiving her own music documentary which director Peter Berg (who you may know from his work on Friday Night Lights) described to Deadline as an "unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon".

He said the inspiration for the film was the 1967 Bob Dylan documentary Don't Look Back, and this will be Rih's second time on the big screen (her first being her role in the not-so-great film Battleship), and her second time working with Berg as well as he was the aforementioned film's director. Berg explained that it will be "much more a character study than a music film" and he wants to look at "a young artist at the top of her professional field", which is basically Rihanna in a nutshell.
