If some unseasonal yet welcome sunshine makes you long for a little dose of slightly wistful melancholia while enjoying outdoor adult beverages then let me point you in the direction of Rob Bravery's debut single. An opening that will transport you back in time to psychedelic 60's pop makes way for a gentle and bouncy piano number with strong shades of Rufus Wainwright at his least self-indulgent (think Poses). He's not re-inventing the wheel or building rockets to Mars - he's just singing you a really nice song that you'll probably play all summer. The lyrics also have the word 'equidistant' in them - and, for my money, there just aren't enough songs that use such fine vocabulary.
