In addition to being Robyn, or running Konichiwa Records – called home by new protégé Zhala – it turns out Robyn is also heading up a new musical project. Titled La Bagatelle Magique (the magic... song?) it is credited to the singer-songwriter herself, her touring keyboardist Markus Jägerstedt and, posthumously, to producer Christian Falk, who died last year from pancreatic cancer.

Sharing the news on Twitter (from where the photo above is taken), Robyn also announced that they'd be playing Stockholm festival Dans Dakar, and will be apparently taking over from 20th to 21st August.

Whilst details on music releases, or anything of that sort, are sketchy, you can check out the La Bagatelle Magique website for a snippet of their sound.

• At the end of April we looked back 10 years to when Robyn released Robyn: would Robyn have been the same Robyn without it?
