With only 2 weeks until the release of debut album Bare, Rosie Carney has shared a final teaser in the form of 'Your Love Is Holy'. Speaking on the inspiration for the track, the young songwriter has said:

"I wrote ‘Your Love Is Holy’ when I first experienced falling in love. I’m not necessarily a religious person, but for some reason, the word ‘holy’ seemed to resonate with me the most when trying to put into words the feelings I experienced. It’s a song about love in general. About wanting to protect those close to you, being aware of time and how precious every waking moment is. It’s about baring yourself and just wholly accepting love, whether it be from someone or yourself. Towards the end of the song, I put my focus on the end of love, and just that feeling of despair and helplessness when you realize and accept that you’re on borrowed time.”

That precious and delicate feeling is well and truly captured in Carney's exquisite track; coupling a silvery guitar melody with the understated sweep of her voice, the effect is magical. She's unafraid to make hints at the intimate side of things, but leaves plenty to the imagination, giving us just enough to paint an impactful impression. Towards the end 'Your Love Is Holy' builds with stunningly graceful strings, Carney's voice lofting up into a falsetto for a knockout finale.

Following the release of debut album Bare on January 25th, Rosie Carney will be playing these live dates:

Wednesday 30 Jan, The Grand Social, Dublin
Thursday 31 Jan, Courtyard Theatre, London
