Ruben Pol has released an emotive, yearning new single ‘too late’. It’s a downtempo slice of noir-pop, toeing the line between the bombastic pop of Josef Salvat and the introverted indie of Perfume Genius. Presenting his artist project last year with the moving ‘Bed Sheets’, Ruben made a strong impression with high quality production value and complex synth structures. This latest cut is no exception, at just 22, the young Dutch artist has a clear skill in creating dreamy tracks that possess a quiet intensity.

Speaking of the song, he notes: "'Too Late' is about coming to terms with the fact that moving on in a relationship isn’t an option anymore. It can’t be saved, and letting go is the only possible option."

‘Too Late’ is a taster of debut EP Infused Romance, described as an engaging introduction to this multi-faceted artist who is growing rapidly in both streams and artist awareness, which will be out on September 6th.
