Instrumental post-rock titans Russian Circles have revealed the details of their new record: it's called Blood Year and comes out through Sargent House on August 2nd.

Whereas the Chicago trio's last studio album Guidance dropped just before the epochal Presidential election, Blood Year comes in the wake of it. Although an instrumental act, Russian Circles have always had no trouble in transmitting their feelings through their dynamism and instrumental brilliance. It's no surprise then to hear that Blood Year is set to be a snarling and raucous beast.

This is certainly true of 'Arluck', the first track to be shared from the new record. Across almost 7 minutes, Russian Circles swirl, pummel and plunder their through epic sonic caverns. It's a welcome return at a perfect moment for the beloved act. Check out 'Arluck' below.
