Scottish duo, Sacred Paws is made up of Golden Grrrls’ Rachel Aggs and Eilidh Rogers. And the two recently won the Scottish Album of the Year Award for their debut album Strike a Match. "We are not always the most confident people and I think playing music has a lot to do with confidence, so this is completely overwhelming and we don’t feel like we belong here," Aggs said while accepting the award "But at the same time, we feel validated for what we do. Thank you."

The pair won over Mogwai’s Atomic, as well as Jesus and Mary Chain, Teenage Fanclub, and Frightened Rabbit.
