Original Story

After dropping a not-so-subtle hint via Twitter, it looks as though Sam Smith may indeed be singing the theme to the newest installment in the James Bond series - Spectre.

Smith was previously rumored to be working on the film, but has repeatedly denied the rumors, which also swirled around Radiohead. Despite the possible obviousness that Radiohead simply don't do projects like that anymore, the Twitter "leak" was the probable nail in the coffin for any hopes of the band's contribution. Despite that, Radiohead are back in studio working on a new record, so their will be new music on the way - eventually.

Same Mendes' Spectre will be the fourth and final film for Daniel Craig as James Bond. Previously, Chris Cornell, Jack White, Alicia Keys, and Adele contributed the title tracks to the previous three films in the series (Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, and Skyfall), so the producers are seemingly sticking with a pop-star heavy trend.

Spectre will be in UK theaters October 26th and U.S. theaters November 6th.
