Shortly after gaining a hefty amount of buzz courtesy of Seattle's always-excellent KEXP, Emerald City native Erik Blood has formally released his lush, dynamic single 'Quiet'.

The single comes from Blood's recently released album Lost In The Motion, the third in his career. Those unfamiliar with his solo work might remark his previous production and engineering efforts with some of Seattle's more well-known acts, such as Shabazz Palaces, THEEsatisfaction, and Tacocat. On his own, Erik Blood paints a serene, vast soundscape capturing '80s new wave and shoegaze, earning righteous comparisons from KEXP as an aesthetic capture of The Cocteau Twins.
