With Glastonbury coming to a close and festival season officially kicking off all around the world, we're being whisked away into the third quarter of 2014 with a bang. Emo has officially returned thanks to bands like American Football, Mineral, and Braid all either reuniting or releasing long-awaited new music in the span of a few months, FKA Twigs knocked us all out with her stunning new track, and Sam Smith has taken the entire world by storm with the release of his debut album.

We've also learned a few things: Solange can throw a mean punch, we'll probably never be seeing Sia's face again during a performance, and Lana Del Rey has managed to be even more polarizing with the release of her new album and its subsequent press.

A ton of great music has come out in the second part of the year, and we wouldn't blame you if some of it just flew by your radar as things happen so quickly nowadays - thankfully, we're here to help. We've compiled a handy-dandy list of our favourite remixes, EPs, photos, and articles for you to delve into! There's even some free music for you to download, and we give you a taste of what you should be looking forward to in the coming months as well. We're always looking out for you here at The 405.

Let's get started, shall we?
