The stories of how bands form can sometimes be a drowsy and predictable affair but for Secret Son, this is certainly not the case. A project born in Berlin, the four-piece is the offspring of a writing vacation nightmare involving a hotel con, a ghostly remote studio near Dresden, and working with its mentally unstable chain-smoking studio engineer. On returning to London - without a track to show - the band changed their name and - somewhat scarred by the said engineer - vowed to produce their own music from that point on.

The result is their sun-kissed take on psychadelic rock-pop tinged with a fair share of Californian glow, which perfectly frames the hypnotising croons of lead vocalist Tom Greenwood – as showcased in new single ‘Killing Time’ via Believe Records.
