Coming up from Brooklyn via Haiti, Moxiie is a singer-songwriter whose musical doings are set to shake up the pop scene. Her adverse beginnings meant that her early life was spent in Brooklyn before relocating to Haiti - a move that has evidently been influential in forming Moxiie's musical repertoire.

Not just your run-of-the-mill pop song, 'Anyone' is blended synth-pop and heavy drums laced with a subtle Caribbean feel. Belonging to the jungle pop genre begun by Moxiie's aptly titled Jungle Pop EP, the track is not only gritty and infectious, but it also displays her musical growth. 'Anyway' is a much more delicate blend of pop, electronica and tribal house allowing her sultry and refined vocals to shine though.

Unsigned, though probably not for long, Moxiie has been set alongside the likes of Charli XCX and Santigold (both great company to keep) and she seems set to breathe new life into the jaded, and often predictable, pop music scene.
