Illuminations, a cross-genre and inspiring programme of live music, film, and event screenings, has just revealed their plans for their 2014 edition. This will be its third year, but for the first time the cinematic aspects will be placed alongside venue The Hackney Picturehouse for its most varied lineup to date.

Parisian composer Sebastian Tellier will be taking part, performing at the Village Underground on 4 November with what's sure to be an incredible concept set. That same day, Shabazz Palaces will be playing at The Laundry in London Fields in support of their new album Lese Majesty.

On 5 November at Village Underground, Melt Yourself Down will be joined by James Chance for a while before the former performs a proper headlining gig. If that all wasn't enough for you, there will also be a Halloween themed event at the Barbican on 31 October. The master of Italian horror himself, Fabio Frizzi, will be celebrating his partnership with the late 'Godfather of Gore' director Lucio Fulci by joining up with the F2F Orchestra, Aluada String Quartet, and live vocalists to perform dark and brooding scores to a multitude of horror films.

Tickets go on sale 17 July for all of the music events except for Fabio Frizzi, which is on-sale now.
