SHEARE, the synth-pop project of New York-born, Los Angeles-based musician Brandon Sheer, is shaping up for a mighty big year. With a slew of new singles on the horizon, SHEARE's colorful and romantic stylings are sure to find its way into countless speakers and headphones in 2019. His new single, 'SIDEXSIDE,' starts the proceedings off right with an achingly beautiful sound that simply demands repeat listens.

One of the harshest realities is that relationships full of love and appreciation lack an ingredient or two, resulting in an especially painful split. SHEARE captures a compelling portrait of such a relationship 'SIDEXSIDE.' Shimmering synths provide the perfect accompaniment to Sheer's soaring vocals. And in the video for the track, Sheer captures the 21st-century elements that accentuate these difficult disintegrations.

"Conceptually, we (Marko, my visual creative partner and I) wanted to make a video that encompassed the tribulations of dating as a Millennial," says Sheer. "Nearly all the events that we've portrayed in the 'SIDEXSIDE' video have happened to me. When I wrote the song, I was in my most vulnerable and honest stage of grief following the demise of a doomed relationship, so it was really important to me that the video was reflective of that same raw emotion."
