The Legend of Zelda series creator Shigeru Miyamoto in a recent talk with IGN has dropped that The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is still on the cards for a remake. Miyamoto said "they're still in my memory".

Shigeru Miyamoto was debating with his team last year about which Zelda title to remake, and the potentially pursuing a remake of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. We all know now which direction Nintendo took with the recent announcement of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (A sequel to A Link to the Past).

With Wind Waker HD to be released later this year for the Wii U and a rumoured brand new Zelda instalment for the console in the future, we can probably expect to see Majora's Mask join the ranks of older classic Zelda games being remade and reintroduced to a newer generation of gamers. Let's hope so! The game was nothing short of phenomenal.
