Ahead of his final ever tour later this month, Shoes and Socks Off - the acclaimed solo-project of Toby Hayes (Meet Me In St. Louis, Shield Your Eyes) - has released a free farewell EP.

Entitled As We Get Closer The Room Gets Smaller, the 4-track EP is avalible as a -pay-what-you-like download from www.shoesandsocksoff.bandcamp.com

The release follows Hayes' announcement last month which called an end to the project which has seen him release five albums in as many years and culminating in the release of his last LP, Miles of Mad Water, earlier this summer.

A final 'Mega Front-Man' / 'BSM all-star farewell tour' kicks off later this month alongside Someone Died - aka Alan Welsh (Tangled Hair/Colour). The final date of which falls on the internationally renowned Meet Me In St. Louis Day, which, this year, celebrates the fifth anniversary since the release of the band's one and only album.
