Sigur Rós have announced plans to release a double live album and film Inni in November via the band's own Krunk label.

Recorded and shot over two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace during the band's last show before their 'indefinite hiatus' at the end of the 2008, the double live album and seventy-five minute film sees the band captured on film for the first time as a four piece without the aid of their string section amiina.

Directed by Vincent Morisset (Arcade Fire’s Miroir Noir), the film is set to debut at this year’s Venice Film Festival on September 3rd, 2011, before being released alongside the album in November.

Recorded by Sigur Rós’ in-house studio engineer Birgir Jón Birgisson, the live album is comprised of the full set from Alexandra Palace, played in order with just one omission, and comes in at one-and-three-quarter hours.

Full tracklisting and further details of Inni's release are expected to be announced shortly.
