Sigur Rós have launched a 24-hour "slow TV" live broadcast that's airing right now on Iceland's Ruv 2. Take a trip along the entire Route 1, that circles around Iceland, while the soundtrack (which is being created in real time through generative music software,) is built around their new song 'Óveður.'

"In a day and age of instant gratification and everything moving so fast, we wanted to do the exact opposite," the band's Jónsi Birgisson said. "Slow TV is counter-active to the world we live in, in that it happens in real time and real slow." Stream and find world tour dates below.
