I was going to write something really great, I mean, really great. The more I thought about it, the better it was. I mean it was really great, better as a column than that wee fella from muse is at wanking that tiny guitar he has, relatively speaking. Then something occurred to me, something I couldn't shake, I mean it just wouldn't disappear. I couldn't shake it and the really great thing I was going to write, vanished. You'd think I get paid by the word but I don't, I'm off to Tallinn, here are your Singles of the Week:

MHA - 'Le Temps'

This is a source of triumph so close to perfection it feels wrong. The EP came out last week and you can buy it on their Bandcamp page, which you should because it's good to have this kind of pick me up readily available to you.

Antwon - '100K'

I lose my shit so violently every time I listen to this that I now have an industrial cleaning firm in my favourite numbers.

Fog Lake - 'Rattlesnake'

There is nothing I could ever write about this song that would equate to the feeling of listening to it in the late afternoon sun, so I won't try, I'll just urge you to do the same. This is from an album that is coming out later this year which you should look out for.

Cecil Otter - 'Cross Countries'

The bullshit is to write it sounds mature, or it's more accomplished, whatever. It's the best thing that Cecil Otter has released. Let me say that. I think he's finally finding his own voice.. *cough*cough*puke*

Anyway, enough of my shit, here's a Spotify playlist with as many songs from my column this year as i could find on there... but I think that's quite enough. I promise to give this column all of the care and attention that something that is outdated and overlooked in a couple of days deserves. You can submit your music to The 405 by using your initiative and clicking around the site, although I will unsubscribe from your mailing list. Have a great day.
