Out of anything and everything that happened during this week's NME Awards, it was Skepta and The 1975 teaming up that remains the most interesting occurrence. Frontman Matt Healy shared that they had all tried to collaborate recently, and although it didn't seem to work out, the band and Skeppy are planning on working on something in the future that's inspired by the Pet Shop Boys' 'West End Girls.'

"We're going to do a tune together. We want to do like a 'West End Girls' Pet Shop Boys [kind of thing]. Maybe start a band, just me and Skepta do a band. Well we’re talking about it, so let’s see what happens."

Last night, Skepta also picked up the Best British Male Artist award.
