Connie Converse – 'Talkin' Like You (Two Tall Mountains)'

The whole back story of this artist intrigues me, I think she is so profound and interesting. One day, she just packed her life into a Volkswagen bug, sent goodbye letters to her friends and family, and was never heard from again in 1974. Her lost recordings in the 50s were discorvered in 2004 and the guy that discovered them had to effectivley recostruct a person in the sense of creating an album and putting all her work in one place. Her songs are very intimate, it's like you're listening to her deepest secrets and her thought process and thats my favourite kind of song, the kind were the song writter shares a part of themselves with you.

Janis Joplin - 'Woman is Losers'

I'm a big fan of Janis Joplin, her voice, her attitude, her songs; I think this is definitely one of my favourite songs by her. I love the lyrics about how hard it is to be a woman in a man's world. Her voice is one of a kind and I definitely am very influenced by it.

Prince - 'Wonderful Ass'

Do I need to explain my obsession with Prince? Because I would be typing for days. I love this song so much it makes me super happy and I love the cheeky lyrics (excuse the pun) I LOVE YOU PRINCE!!!! O(+>

Brain Bombs - 'Who Can You Trust?'

It's a cool song and very relatable. I always listen to this when I'm angry.

MC5 - 'Kick Out The Jams'

We love MC5 and what they stand for; a big favourite.
