Slowdive drummer Simon Scott shared some vital information in a recent interview with Danish publication Undertoner - the iconic shoegaze band's first album in 20 years is finished.

"We're finished recording the album and it will be mixed this summer," Scott confirmed. "It's Neil [Halstead], who is the primary songwriter, but what has changed since the '90s, is that he asked me to manipulate some of the sounds we have recorded. It's not that the album is going to sound electronic [though]. We've played together for two years after reforming, and Neil wanted to capture how good we sound as a live band, in the studio. So in that way it’s a live record."

There's no date as of yet as to when the album will appear.
