Billy Corgan's Pro Wrestling dream is over.

"For those interested, I've left RESISTANCE PRO WRESTLING, officially and unofficially," wrote the Smashing Pumpkins frontman. "Details to follow in the coming weeks. And though this is by no means a way to reach them, I'd like to thank the talented wrestlers, managers, and valets I've worked with."

Corgan was the creative director of the company, which involved him writing storylines for a bunch of oiled-up wrestlers. You still with us? Ok. So where does he go from here? Ballet dancing? YouTube blogger? No, MUSICAL THEATER. He's set to take part in The 48-Hour Musicals: Encore!, which will challenge him to write and produce a 20-minute musical in two days. His chosen topic? Well according to The Chicago Tribune, "the Eleusinian Mysteries, a religious rite in Ancient Greece." Still with us? Really?

Oh, and he's shared another new track from Smashing Pumpkins' forthcoming album, Monuments To An Elegy (out December 8th). Grab a slice of 'Tiberius' below.
