With her debut album Lush T-minus one month away from release, Snail Mail is building up to it in style with a string of UK dates (including a terrific headline slot at London's Oslo last night) and the release of the third single from the album, 'Let's Find An Out'.

While the singles released so far, 'Pristine' and 'Heat Wave', have shown off Lindsey Jordan's abilities to shred and snarl with the best of them, 'Let's Find An Out' takes a different approach. A contemplative slow ballad, practically folk, 'Let's Find An Out' is a missive from a young girl in a sleepy suburban town dreaming of escaping to the big city with a loved one. The song is only just over two minutes, but Jordan's classical guitar playing and vivid lyricism ("Let's find an out, we'll start anew/ With the headlights in your eyes, I see it all over you") make this a warm and lived-in fantasy.

Snail Mail's Lush comes out on June 15th through Matador. If you missed them on the current UK tour they'll be back in London in October playing The Dome - tickets here.
