Excellent news for all you Sonic Youth fans out there - the NYC band are set to reissue a bunch of their albums this year.

Their 1988 album Daydream Nation will be the first to see the light of day, arriving on June 10th as a 2xLP and CD via Sonic Youth's own label and distributed by Revolver/Midheaven. Also arriving on CD will be The Whitey Album, credited to Ciccone Youth. The two albums will then be followed by the band's pre-Geffen catalogue (currently out of print): Confusion Is Sex (1983), Bad Moon Rising (1985), EVOL (1986) and Sister(1987), as well as a DVD version of 1995 compilation Screaming Fields of Sonic Love.
