For their eighth studio album, it looks like Spiritualized will be working alongside Martin 'Youth' Glover - you might know him from his work with the likes of Marilyn Manson, The Verve, Erasure, The Futureheads, or Dido, but he's best known for being the founding member and bassist of Killing Joke.

The news came via a Facebook post from Killing Joke, explaining that they're "Very pleased to announce that Youth will be in the producer seat for the new Spiritualized record. Jason Spaceman has started recording in London at Youth’s studio and will complete the recordings in Spain". The album will be Spiritualized's first since 2012.

If you want to catch them live, the band have just announced that they're one of the headliners for this year's Austin Psych Fest.
