It had been rumoured to be happening for quite some time, but it looks like Spotify is finally restricting some of its albums to Premium users only. The new measure coincides with the company's plans to move towards an IPO -- an Initial Public Offering, which means they're set to hit the public stock market --, so the decision could be linked to an attempt to make it seem more profitable to potential investors.

We have no idea what albums will be restricted, or exactly when these restrictions will roll in, but more information on the company's new decision should be provided to subscribers soon.
