My mind was blown today as a website called ssega.com popped up allowing gamers to use their internet browsers as a fully functioning emulator, complete with save state functionality and full screen capabilities.

The website contains almost every Sega Genesis (that's Megadrive!to us brits) game and you can play them all entirely for free. Although I don't advocate piracy, for an out-of-print console, it's pretty sweet having a website like this allowing people who are bored at work to relieve stress via Streets of Rage or for children to experience the wonders of the terrible Jurassic Park games, or Shaq-Fu.

It's a matter of time to see how long the site will survive for before either SEGA takes them down or the website starts charging consumers - hopefully neither!
