We're happy to premiere this uplifting and soul-warming track from Swedish songmaker Staphan O'Bell. Apparently he was working on an album earlier this year, thought "mmm, this isn't right," and amazingly decided to start from scratch. The results are on his upcoming debut album Mirror House, from which this track comes – please enjoy 'Five Years Went Fast'.

What begins as something soft and gentle gradually explodes into a highly noisy and kinetic track, squalling guitars team up with epic crunches of distortion and galloping snares and glittering rainbow arpeggios of synth, all the while painted with Staphan's plaintive voice, sustained piano chords keeping mellow in amidst the throng of sound. A burst of emotion and sunshine fresh outta Stockholm.

Keep your eyes peeled for this guy's debut, out on Something In Construction soon.
