Earlier this year, the 18-year-old Wollongong-based musician Stevan made one of the strongest debuts in recent memory with his single 'Timee.' The lush, soulful single showcases Stevan's diverse set of talents -- songwriting, singing, instrumentation, producer and more -- offering listener's their first glimpse at a surefire star in the making. That track is now getting a sensational visual to go with it, highlighting yet another tool in Stevan's expansive toolbelt.

According to Stevan, 'Timee' is an exploration of the artist in relation to his art. As a result, the video visualises this introspection, incorporating various imagery and vibes from other artists that Stevan enjoys, such as Wes Anderson.

Jordan Kirk, the director of the video, spoke to the importance of making the first visual for Stevan. "You only get to make a debut once, so it was important when coming up with the concept for this music video that, as a new and emerging artist, Stevan was introduced in an authentic way," he says. "We wanted the clip to have a timelessness, while also reflecting something fresh and new. This is captured in the beginning of the clip and in the wardrobe choices, both being nods to Talking Head’s classic 'Psycho Killer' video."
