Despite working on a new Fleetwood Mac album, Stevie Nicks has announced she'll be releasing a new solo album this fall.

24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault is due out this October and features reworked versions of previously unreleased material: "We found all the songs that, somehow, were taken from my house or picked up or loaned out or whatever… and we went to Nashville (and recorded them)," Nicks tells Associated Press. "So they're like all starting from like 1969 maybe? I call them my 24 Karat Gold songs."

Fleetwood Mac are currently touring this summer, which explains why we might have to wait some time before we get to hear it: "we won't really have time to (finish the songs). There's some talk about some time next year. Fleetwood Mac always take a long time to make a record -- you know what," says Christine McVie.
