The people in the know, the fastidious and fervent folkspeople, rave about Stick In The Wheel. The East London band's debut From Here soaks up AOTY awards in 2015 from the likes of fRoots, and have been on on the receiving end of four BBC Folk Awards since they started making tunes in 2013. Their follow-up record is scheduled for release 26 January 2018, and is intriguingly titled Follow Them True.

Accompanying the album announcement is the obligatory single, and hoo boy it's compelling. 'Over Again' turns propulsive and ashy, singer Nicola Kearey's vocals hurtle along to vociferous guitar and good old' fashioned claps. As an invocation of English folk's working class roots, and prancing between the political and the mythical, there's a lot to unpack. Think higher-tempo Richard Dawson, if contrived comparisons are your jam.

Kearey says of the track; "Like the album that it opens, 'Over Again' is about a new start, how things come in cycles, rebirth, being stuck in a loop, how you can become trapped, bound by your own rituals, how you need hope to break out of them, but that it has to come from within."
