Once upon a time it was just a normal Monday, we were all going about our days recovering from the weekend and hoping for something good to come along to make our day a little brighter. Then, all of a sudden, Death From Above 1979 decided "hey, why not release a new song today?" and the world rejoiced.

Seeing as the band only ever released one album, You're A Woman, I'm A Machine, all the way back in 2004 it seems fitting that on its 10th anniversary they would announce the release of a new album titled The Physical World, due in September. Earlier today on his BBC Radio 1 show, Zane Lowe premiered the first cut from the album titled 'Trainwreck 1979' and it's just about anything DFA1979 fans could want and more. It's so nice he played it twice, and you can listen to it below! There are rumors of some October UK tour dates as well, so we'll keep you posted when we hear more about those.
