After an outing on No Pain in Pop's The Bedroom Club II compilation, Canterbury-based producer B£AMS returns to unveil his début LP of tropical synth-hop, Patches.

These songs exist in the space between sleep and wake - where time bends and bubbles, divine murmurs fizz into the distance and technicoloured layers of synth and stutter beats collapse under their own weight.

Flitting from one blissed out, mind-bendy daydream to the next, B£AMS boasts all the attention span of a stoned Madlib. And that can only be a good thing. Patches is out on Kit Records next month.
