Norwegian composer and filmmaker Benjamin Finger has released the track 'Time Steps' from his upcoming vinyl release, The Bet. Finger has proven to be rather adept at blending the classical and modern in elegant soundscapes. 'Time Steps' maintains this tradition.

The track walks a tight line between dream pop and music concrete. Haunting, childish vocals bubble up from a wash of found sounds, synth strikes and assorted atmospherics. There's no big climax, the song just sort of unfolds, but a listener could easily get lost in the lush, airy mix.

The Bet is due out June 1st from Watery Starve. Finger's album will be the first vinyl release from Watery Starve, "a micro press looking to document music, writing and art in unique and limited quantity."
