We at The 405 are delighted to premiere 'Hands Tied', which is the latest single from Billy Lockett, whose star continues to rise astronomically as one of the UK's most gifted young singer-songwriters. Boasting three sold-out London shows so far, including Bush Hall, he's developed quite a devoted fanbase, and it's easy to see why.

'Hands Tied' exemplifies the clarity and punch of simplicity, with Billy's soothing voice and purposeful piano bearing all the weight of the track. The song deals with the fragmentation of identity in a toxic relationship, and the liberation in escaping it.

Billy's commented that “Hands Tied is about coming to your senses after being in a brain washing relationship. I love it because it's about accepting that you lost yourself and did some things that were out of character but you are now ready to move on and learn from the mistakes. It's the song I’m most proud of writing.”

The single will be available on all digital platforms July 14th.
