The debut album from Los Angeles-based brat pop duo HOLYCHILD, The Shape of Brat Pop to Come, drops next week on 2 June via Glassnote Records, but thankfully they know a thing or two about promotions, because you can stream it right now courtesy of Noisey! The 11 track effort is dripping in attitude and sass, but don't think it's just another mindless pop album - frontwoman Liz Nistico and her partner-in-crime Louie Diller have a lot to say about gender, societal constructions of femininity, and feminism, and it's a breath of fresh air.

The band just wrapped up a string of tour dates opening for Passion Pit, but they're playing a handful of festival gigs this summer (and a hometown show in just over a week), but the full list of shows is after the album stream.

  • Tour Dates:
  • May 31 - Sweetlife Festival - Columbia, MD
  • Jun 06 - The Governors Ball - New York, NY
  • Jun 10 - The Troubadour - Los Angeles, CA
  • Jun 11 - Amoeba Record Store - Los Angeles, CA
  • Aug 01 - Lollapalooza - Chicago, IL
