826 Valencia is a nonprofit organization that supports student writing, and they're releasing a compilation album in December titled You Be My Heart. It's got tracks from Mark Kozelek, Bowerbirds, Saturday Looks Good to Me, Fruit Bats, Maps & Atlases, and more. There's also a new track from Marissa Nadler, 'Half as Much', which you can stream and download for free below. Every song on You Be My Heart was written by Devon Reed, who also curated the album. Nadler, on the other hand, is releasing her new album July on 4 February via Sacred Bones in the US, and 10 February via Bella Union in the UK; stream the first cut from that album, 'Dead City Emily', here.
