Last May, I put together a list of up-and-coming psych acts whose debut releases made them worthy of keeping an eye on. One of them was Green Seagull, a London-based quartet signed to Mega Dodo who had released their first single 'Scarlet' and were at the time preparing their proper full-length.

Well, the wait is finally over: Scarlet Fever is a delicious slice of garage freakout revival reminiscent of that exciting, distinguishable London backbeat so easily found on those amazing Decca/Deram gem compilations. Its 14 tracks drinking directly from the likes of the Association, the Pretty Things, and the Small Faces, Scarlet Fever is as colourful as Biba's new spring-summer collection and as referential as David Bailey's Box of Pin-Ups.

Scarlet Fever is out on March 30th via digital, CD, and vinyl formats, but you can stream it in full below now via Mega Dodo's bandcamp.
