Lille disco pop trio GYM bust out of the traditional Anglo-Saxon preconception of Gallic music, being neither knowingly whimsical, nor stylishly doom-laden. Their new EP PYGME sees them eschew Justice, Daft Punk and Serge Gainsbourg in favour of channelling OK GO and current pop darling Dan Croll to create muscular, good-humoured college rock. The EP is out now on Play It Loudly Records.

Singer Jérôme Voisin describes their sound as "epileptic… warm… music to dance to while you drive and that you still have in your head after you've been arrested, and then you sing it to the cops…"
