'Hollow', a new track from Alex G's upcoming album DSU, out June 17th via Orchid Tapes, is wrought with many of the same revivalist eccentricities that have emerged within this young decade, and seamlessly zig zags from guitar that jangles and warbles.

The falsetto G adopts is both smooth, and a little silly, but his song is a pretty mix of distortion and clarity, and it elevates itself from consciously trashy lo-fi tendencies with a gorgeous, and appropriately hollow, string section. Listen below.
