Since 2011, the duo of Liz Nistico and Louie Diller AKA Holychild have been making sugary electro pop hits that'll both fill your heart with joy and knock your socks off. They recently signed to heavyweight label Glassnote Records, home of Phoenix and Childish Gambino, and are due to release their first EP at Glassnote, Mindspeak next month. 'Every Time I Fall', the lead single, is everything we've come to expect and more.

Fuzzy guitars, Liz Nistico's sweet yet distorted vocals and the ferocious drum beats bring to mind the joyous noise pop of Sleigh Bells or Matt & Kim. Packed with fun, it's a track that just makes you want to bounce around the kitchen like a child after their tenth packet of those really sour, sugary Haribo. Take Phantogram from the dark, electronic back alleys they call home and stick them on some tropical beach with a drink in a coconut and some garishly floral shirts and you've got Holychild. A buoyant noise pop smash it's impossible not to love.
