The first full track from Epic Records' upcoming posthumous Michael Jackson album is here. 'XSCAPE', the record's title track, dates back to the recording sessions' for Jackson's final album, Invincible, but it's been through a process Epic Records' L.A. Reid calls "comtemporizing", and now sounds like a heavy funk song, with hazey vocal samples. As expected, the track's production does all the heavy lifting, but for a reanimation, it's pretty damn good, then again the King of Pop's trademark affectations are hard to hate.

If the word 'comtemporizing' makes you feel a bit queasy you'll want to pick up XSCAPE's deluxe version instead, because it will feature Jackson's final recordings in their original form.
