Since the release of her top 10 single 'Say Something' last year (which was recently certified Gold in the UK), singer/songwriter Karen Harding spent much of the year touring and appearing at a number of summer festivals across the country and further afield. At the same time, she's been working towards her debut album, teaming up with Rodney Jerkins, Tom Aspaul, Jimmy Napes and Richard Stannard, as well as finding time to feature on tracks with the likes of Blonde and Arches.

Continuing to bring her unique combination of sass and soul into 2016, Harding looks set to release her new single 'Open My Eyes' later this month, which is another slice of soulful vocals and funky dance vibes. The remix package has already seen some stellar work from The Writers Blockand Zed Bias but today, The 405 premieres the latest remix of 'Open My Eyes', this time courtesy of Garage legend MJ Cole. It's a stomping house track with heavy keys and a minimal vocal - echoing the '90s house records that have influenced some of Karen's music thus far. "I still can't get over it," Karen told us via email. "I get to work with the garage legend himself and he's absolutely nailed the dub!"

Summer may be a while off yet but this is bound to have you planning your summer activities. 'Open My Eyes' will be released on January 29 via Capital Records.
